<span class=normal>Life has been tough growing up with two bombshells for sisters. While her older sisters Meghna and Sushma hogged the limelight, a plumper Sameera was more of an introvert - someone who dreamed of travelling around the world someday. It killed me. They stole the entire spotlight. It wasnt until her college days when her sisters agent dangled the metaphorical carrot of travel luring her in front of the camera. With the promise of a trip to Australia and Rs. 6000, she set off to shoot a Pankaj Udhas music video, Aur Aahista. After the shoot I spent ten days travelling through Sydney and Gold Coast. When I returned the video had unexpectedly became a huge hit. The offers poured in after that. As she shuttles through a phone call with Neeta Lulla for a clothes fitting later in the evening and another with the organisers of an event in Coimbatore the next day, jet-lag and exhaustion are for pussies. Give her an opportunity to travel and shell dump everything including a day off with her favourite books to jet across the world to see another country. A huge fan of New York she spends a month there every year with her girlfriends. We get an apartment and go wild. We dine outside as well in places like the Spotted Pig in the Village and Blue Ribbon Sushi. Id rather try out the lesser known places rather than visit the fancy ones. I love karaoke bars too but it is best that we dont talk about my musical side. In love with historical locations like Cappadocia in Turkey, shes a no-frills backpacker except for the accommodation bit - shed rather stay in a hotel than in a dorm. </span>
