<span class=normal> I was honoured that someone from foreign land was so touched with my performance <br><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>There was a lady who was sitting next to me during the screening of Gangs Of Wasseypur in Cannes. Her name was Maggie Smith. On the other side of her was Nawazuddin. She saw the entire film with us and also started to cry a bit in one of the scenes. There was an intermission between Part one and Part two of the movie and we went in the lobby. Out there she passed me and completely ignored me. I thought she was being rude but only to find out that she went and met the E.P. of the film to find out about the actress of Gangs Of Wasseypur. I was honoured that someone from foreign land was so touched with my performance. She also didnt recognise me though she was sitting right next to me and watching the film. As they say - Ignorance is Bliss. <br><br><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p> Gangs Of Wasseypur is not a dark film. Its real, its universal, and its massy <br><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>Gangs Of Wasseypur isnt a dark film. Its real because its based on a real story. The people in the film werent dark, they were idiots. The vengeance started with their stupidity. I saw my own film at Cannes properly and without being biased, let me tell you, its a very universal film. Its a family drama. Sholay was not about romance, it was about revenge. Its a cult film.
