<span class=normal>Red - Red Swastik - Lal Baadshah<BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>The colour Red makes its presence felt the most during the festival of Holi and hence it comes as no surprise that even our filmmakers decided to use the word Red (Lal in Hindi) in some of their films. <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>While Lal has been used in numerous old films such as Lal Quila, Lal Bangla, Lal Rumal and Lal Pari, the most prominent film that comes to our mind is the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Lal Baadshah. The forgettable flick can be best remembered for Amitabh dancing in a bright red suit with the much younger Shilpa Shetty. <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>In the recent past, our films have also started using English words in their titles and with time the word Lal was replaced by its English counterpart Red. So you have films like Red, which starred Aftab Shivdasani along with Celina Jaitley and Amrita Arora in which the colour red was used in abundance and the lesser known but highly controversial Red Swastik starring sex-symbol Sherlyn Chopra. While in the former, the colour Red signified the passion of love, in the latter Red signified danger. </span>
