<span class=normal>Cherie Blair, President of the Loomba Foundation, informed guests that the Foundation, which was established in UK in 1997, had so far educated 6,221 children of poor widows in India and supported 27,000 family members. Many of the students have already completed their studies after receiving scholarship for a period of five years or more. She added that the Foundation is currently educating 2,150 beneficiaries in 14 states in India. </span>
