<span class=normal>Guru Dutt (July 9, 1925 - October 10, 1964) <br><br><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>Born as Vasanth Kumar Shivashankar Padukone, this Indian film director, producer and actor gave Bollywood a treasure of movies that are still cherished. This legendary persona started his career as a telephone operator in Kolkatta and later entered the film industry with the movie Chand in 1944 where he played a small role. Some of his masterpieces include Pyaasa, Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam, Chaudhvin Ka Chand and Baaz.<br><br><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>Due to his personal issues with his wife, reports suggest that there were chances that Dutt committed suicide by mixing sleeping pills and alcohol. However, his family claims that it was just an accident. </span>
