<span class=normal>Bejoy Nambiar (Shaitan) <BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>One of the most unconventional directorial debut was made by Bejoy Nambiar with Shaitan. A well known name when it comes to short films, Bejoy had been doing the rounds of various producers with the script of Shaitan until maverick filmmaker Anurag Kashyap offered him a break. His film didnt boast of any big stars but it was the captivating script and the way Bejoy treated the film that caught everyones attention. The film boasted of never before seen edits and cuts and each and every frame gave the film the much needed psychedelic look. To Bejoys credit, he even managed to extract brilliant performances from all his actors. And last but not the least, who can forget that imaginatively shot action sequence where you have bullets being fired left, right and centre to the beats of the trippy Khoya Khoya Chand. Surely here is one director to watch out for in the future. </span>
