Behind the Scenes of Karthik Calling Karthik : Bollywood News

Last months release Karthik Calling Karthik (KCK) starring Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone had many beautiful moments between its lead pair. The film, helmed by debutant director Vijay Lalwani, was appreciated for its novel theme and different treatment. While the film does have a serious theme, there was enough masti and dhamaal on the sets to keep the cast and crew entertained. Bollywood Hungama got director Vijay Lalwani to share some exciting action that took place on the sets of KCK. So over to you Vijayâ€¦

Location: Bandstand Fort, Bandra, Mumbai

Here we are seen rehearsing and blocking for the break up scene. We were to originally shoot this on the fort rocks by the sea but the rains prevented us from doing so. Hence, we build a shack around one of the tea stalls near the fort and tried to retain the gloomy outdoor ambience the scene required. To ensure the rain would be consistent we hired rain machines to add to the inconsistent drizzle already present.

Here Karthiks character has his first outburst with Shonali. This is the only scene where we see a vocal and aggressive Karthik. Farhan, Deepika, the dialogue supervisor and me are seen in this pic.
