Chamku

Strengths

- Films director Kabeer Kaushik. He is the same man who made the wonderful Sehar, a few years back and gave Arshad Warsi the best role of his career.

- Terrific supporting star cast of Danny Denzongpa and Irrfan Khan

Weaknesses

- Films title. For those not closely clued in to the films promotion, it is hard to gauge whether Chamku tells the serious tale of a village simpleton or is it a comedy? Fact is that it is an action-drama (well, thats what one believes so!)

- The promos have a strong Bicchoo, Badal, Kismat hangover

- Forgettable music. Except for Aaja Milke (which is fair), nothing else excites

- Bobby Deol is going through a terribly rough patch. He has done well in each of his five films released last year (Shakalaka Boom Boom, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Apne, Naqaab, Nanhe Jaisalmer) but only Apne managed to be a success (A Deol family reunion on celluloid).

- Priyanka Chopra has lost the momentum over the months gone by, more so after Love Story 2050

Check out movie stills

Download movie wallpapers
