<span class=normal>Agneepath<BR><BR><br><p class=clear>&nbsp;</p>The nineties blockbuster remake which featured Sanjay Dutt as the iconic Kancha, set the box-office ruthlessly on fire this year. Since Agneepath is a period movie, it was requisite for filmmakers to employ visual effects to bring out the episodic narrative of the film. Mumbai based Pixion Studios accomplished the VFX for the film, with digitally augmenting over 1600 shots. Sanjiv Naik, VFX Supervisor of the film, manned a team of hundred and twenty artists while at Pixion for the project. Talking about the work involved, he says, There were certain shots that were extremely difficult to shoot in daylight, the sequence in which the master gets killed, was reworked to make it look like it happened at night.
