BO update: 'Sholay 3D', 'Mr Joe B. Carvalho' start slow!

 

After the big finish last year with DHOOM-3 shattering most records, expectations were high from the newer releases. However, the two films, SHOLAY 3D and MR JOE B. CARVALHO that kickstarted the year for Bollywood, have begun on a less than desirable note. Early trends indicate a slow start for the two films, although SHOLAY was slightly better in few circuits. However, DHOOM-3 is expected to dominate the domestic BO for the third consecutive week, as per initial trends.

Both, SHOLAY 3D and MR JOE B. CARVALHO, will have to rely heavily on a strong word of mouth to sustain over the weekend.
