BO update: Guddu Rangeela starts slow, Terminator slightly better

 

This week we see the release of yet another film from Fox in the form of GUDDU RANGEELA. However, the task ahead for it seems all but easy with stiff competition coming in the form of the Hollywood release TERMINATOR GENISYS (TG).

Reports suggest that as expected, TG has started off on a slightly better note with occupancy rates in morning shows being pegged at approximately 35%. On the other hand, GUDDU RANGEELA that features Arshad Warsi, Amit Sadh and Aditi Rao Hydari has taken off to a sluggish start with an occupancy rate of a 25%.

 

While the general consensus is that TG will fare better than GUDDU RANGEELA over evening and night shows, the latter will have to rely heavily on good word of mouth to post decent weekend figures.
