Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Estimate Day 4: Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani film jumps by 20 percent on Sunday; collects Rs. 12.35 crores

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's recently released film, Satyaprem Ki Katha has recorded an impressive trend in its opening weekend. After starting at Rs. 9.25 crores on Bakri Eid, the movie has recorded a good trend at the box office as the collections jumped from Rs. 7 crores on Friday to Rs. 10.10 crores on Saturday. And now, as per early estimates, the movie has collected in the range of Rs. 12.10 to 12.60 crores on its fourth day.

The four-day total of Satyaprem Ki Katha stands at Rs. 39 crores, and the platform is now laid for the film to record superlative trends on the weekdays and emerge as a successful venture. The Sajid Nadiadwala production will be targeting a lifetime collection in the range of Rs. 80 crores and once it reaches this number, it would be safe to term Kartik and Kiara Jodi with a 100 percent track record.

 

On Sunday, the business of Satyaprem Ki Katha has gone up across the board - be it multiplex or single screens. The three national chains collected Rs. 6.35 crores on Sunday as compared to Rs. 5.75 crores on Saturday. The non-national chains have also shown a growth of 20 percent on Sunday.

 

The film faced competition from Punjabi film, Carry on Jatta 3 and also Marathi film, Baipan Bhaari Deva. If not for the competition, the business would have been higher by a crore or two, taking the film in the Rs. 40 crore weekend club.
