Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan sells approx. 35,000 tickets across the National multiplex chains

After a decent start to the advance bookings, the Salman Khan led Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan slowed down a bit on the second day of bookings in the national chains. The hope is now on it to pick up the momentum on Thursday leading to the film's release on Friday. As of Thursday at 10:30 am, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has sold approx. 35,000 tickets across the three national multiplex chains - PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.

The film will be looking to double this by end of the day and close its advance booking in the range of 70,000 in the three chains. The target will be to surpass the likes of Vikram Vedha and Laal Singh Chaddha and be in the range of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The bookings at the smaller centers are better than the national chains.

 

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will be looking at an opening in the vicinity of Rs. 15 crore and then hope to jump well on Saturday and Sunday due to the Eid factor and put up a good weekend total around the Rs. 60-65 crore mark. The bookings at the moment are below average but by the end of Thursday, it can reach the reasonable number of 70,000 tickets, laying the platform to clock a decent opening day number.

 

The Salman Khan factor is driving the film as nothing prior to the release has really left an impact apart from the first song - Naiyo Lagda. The single screens will benefit from Salman's presence to put up a number.
