Roohi Box Office: Roohi collects Rs. 1.85 cr. from national multiplex chains on Day 1
The Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma starrer Roohi released yesterday in theatres. The film which comes after the lockdown has managed to fare rather well at the box office, managing to draw in Rs. 3.06 cr. on Day 1. Though the film has managed to post decent collections the fact remains that, due to the pandemic there still remain certain locations that are yet to commence business.
In fact, Roohi that released across all major national multiplexes has managed to collect Rs. 1.85 cr. from these chains itself. Interestingly, the mega chain PVR leads the charge, with Rs. 90 lakhs coming from PVR while INOX and Cinepolis contributed Rs. 60 Lakhs and Rs. 35 lakhs respectively.
Currently, trade expectations are that the business of the film which has recorded decent collections will continue its upward trend. In fact, the extended weekend is sure to bolster the film’s opening weekend collections:
