Mission Mangal Box Office - Mission Mangal is now Akshay Kumar’s biggest opener ever, all eyes on Housefull 4 to break that record
What a run Akshay Kumar has been having at the box office and that too in such a consistent manner. His Mission Mangal has exceeded expectations and seen a very good start for itself. Of course, there was an advantage of the Independence Day release but one can’t ignore the fact that his superstar status coupled with the content in the offering played a major part in the film sustaining right till the night shows.
With this, Akshay Kumar has now beaten his own record of Gold which had released last year and collected Rs. 25.25 crores on its opening day. Mission Mangal pretty much sits at the top and there is a decent gap in between the two films. What is further notable is the fact that Akshay Kumar is now busy beating his own records as the top four in the list have released in last Rs. 12 months, which further signifies how he has been finding love from the audience one film after another.

Next in line is Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 4 which is a Diwali release and is the biggest ever that Akshay Kumar has featured in. There are huge expectations from the film and rest assured, it would set yet another major record for the superstar.
