Laal Singh Chaddha becomes the HIGHEST grosser of 2022 in overseas; surpasses Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and The Kashmir Files
The keenly awaited and highly promoted Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was released on Thursday, August 11. Directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni the film which is an adaptation of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump also features Kareena Kapoor Khan.
In the overseas markets, Laal Singh Chaddha has managed to rake in USD 7.5 million [Rs. 59.89 cr.] at the close of the second weekend. It has managed to surpass Gangubai Kathiawadi [7.47 mil. USD], Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 [5.88 mil. USD] and The Kashmir Files [5.7 mil. USD] to become the highest overseas grosser of 2022 in the international markets.
