Kabir Singh Box Office Collections: Shahid Kapoor’s intense drama garners HIGHEST 1st Monday collections for 2019, beats URI: The Surgical Strike
Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh has created history at the box office by garnering Rs. 70.83 crores in its opening weekend itself and becoming Shahid’s highest grosser. On Monday, it has collected Rs. 17.50 crores. The total numbers as of now stand at Rs. 88.37 crores. The film has continued its momentum and is trending at a sensational level.
The film, which is a remake of Sandeep Vanga’s Arjun Reddy, released in about 3123 screens on a non-holiday weekend and yet managed to become a crowd puller, thanks to its intense story, performances and music.
In this box office report, we take a look at Kabir Singh collections on its first Monday in theatres while comparing the same with previous releases of 2019. Kabir Singh, at Rs. 17.50 crores, has managed to overthrow Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike which garnered Rs. 10.51 on its first Monday at the box office.
Not surprisingly, it also managed to overthrow biggies like Ajay Devgn’s Total Dhammal, Salman Khan’s Bharat, Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy, Akshay Kumar’s Kesari who have collected Rs. 9.85 crores, 9.20 crores, 8.65 crores, 8.25 crores respectively.
