Kabir Singh Box Office Collections: The Shahid Kapoor starrer registers the Highest 1st Tuesday collections of 2019

The Arjun Reddy remake starring Shahid Kapoor released last week on Friday. Directed by Sandeep Vanga, Kabir Singh that was surrounded by immense hype opened on a good note thanks to the positive reviews and good rate of advance bookings. Now on its fifth day running, the business of Kabir Singh has managed to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark with Rs. 16.53 cr coming in on its first Tuesday.

In this box office report, we take a look at the collections of Kabir Singh on its first Tuesday in theatres while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 16.53 cr, Kabir Singh has managed to out beat previous releases of 2019 to become the highest first Tuesday grosser of the year. In fact, the business of the Shahid Kapoor starrer had posted better collections as compared to Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 9.57 cr, Total Dhamaal that collected Rs. 8.75 cr, Bharat that collected Rs. 8.30 cr, Gully Boy that collected Rs. 8.05 cr, Kesari that collected Rs. 7.17 cr, De De Pyaar De that collected Rs. 6.10 cr, Luka Chuppi that collected Rs. 5.04 cr, Student Of The Year 2 that collected Rs. 4.85 cr, and Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi that collected Rs. 4.50 cr.

 

When compared to the highest all-time first Tuesday grossers, Kabir Singh manages to claim the 13th spot on the list surpassing the first Tuesday collections of Padmaavat that had collected Rs. 14 cr.

 

Currently, Kabir Singh continues to run in theatres. But with Article 15 coming up for release later this week, the Shahid Kapoor starrer might see a dip in collections as the weekend draws near.
