Jawan Advance Box Office Report: Film collects Rs. 11.60 cr on Day 2 at national multiplex chains as of 12 noon

The Atlee directorial Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi hit screens yesterday. Being one of the most anticipated releases of recent times, Jawan whose advance booings opened a week before release has been enjoying a highly positive trend. With rave reviews and massive promotions and hype, the business of Jawan has started off on a spectacular note. After seeing one of the highest rates of advance bookings on day 1, on its second day running, the film has seen its collections grow even further.

Advance box office reports, estimate that Jawan has already managed to draw in a massive Rs. 11.60 cr on its second day at national multiplex chains as of 12 noon. Drawing in Rs. 9.35 cr from PVR and a further Rs. 2.25 cr at the Cinepolis chain, Jawan looks set to enjoy a money-spinning second day. If that was not enough, the film has already managed to rake in Rs. 30.40 lakhs at MovieMax and another Rs. 55 lakhs at Miraj. Interestingly, these advance collections are for the second day in theatres till 12 noon only.

 

Going forward, the business of Jawan that is enjoying the audience craze is sure to grow over evening and night shows. In fact, trade predictions state that the business of the film is all set to enjoy a money-spinning opening weekend that could see the film’s collections reach if not cross the Rs. 150 cr mark.
