Doctor Strange 2 Box Office: Film set to cross 300 million USD at the North America box office by the close of second weekend
The much talked about and keenly anticipated 28th release in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness hit screens a little over a week ago. After opening on a high note, the business of the film saw a big drop in collections over week days.
After opening to USD 187 million at the USA box office, the business of Doctor Strange 2 crossed the USD 200 million mark on Monday Day 5. With advance booking for the film opening a whole month before its release, the business of the film saw a massive opening collections with a big drop on weekdays, however given the craze for the MCU the business of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is expected to see further growth.
In fact, going forward, Doctor Strange 2 will soon cross the USD 233 million benchmark set by the first film, Doctor Strange as it closes the gap to the USD 300 million mark. As per trade predictions, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is all set to surpass the USD 300 million mark by the close of its second weekend in theatres at the North America box office.
The film has already crossed USD 500 million worldwide this Tuesday.
