China Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun fares well on Day 2 in China; total collections at Rs. 21.36 cr
The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun released in India a while back. Based on the French short film The Piano Tuner, Andhadhun saw Ayushmann play a blind pianist who gets embroiled in a murder. Now, months after its Indian release the film hit screens in China and has been doing rather well at the China box office.
After raking in USD 1.06 [Rs. 7.33 cr] million on Day 1 at the China box office, the collections of Andhadhun saw an increase with USD 1.77 [Rs. 12.25 cr] million coming in on Day 2. With this the total collections of Andhadhun at the China box office currently stands at USD 3.09 million [Rs. 21.36 cr]. If that wasn't all, Andhadhun that seems to have appealed to the Chinese audiences’ taste had managed to take pretty well on the daily highest grossers list. In fact, Andhadhun has claimed the third spot on the daily highest grossers list at the China box office preceded by two local releases.
As of now, with trade experts predicting that Andhadhun is likely to continue enjoying the audiences’ favour all that remains to be seen is whether the film goes on to become one of the highest grossers at the China box office.
