Box Office: Toilet – Ek Prem Katha beats Badrinath Ki Dulhania; becomes 2nd highest Week 2 grosser of 2017

Interestingly, while the list is firmly lead by the mega hit Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that collected Rs. 143.25 cr, the other films that Toilet – Ek Prem Katha has manage to surpass include Badrinath Ki Dulhania that collected Rs. 27.08 cr, Jolly LLB 2 that collected Rs. 26.74 cr, Hindi Medium that collected Rs. 20.88 cr, Kaabil that collected Rs. 17.09 cr, Raees that collected Rs. 16.4 cr, Mubarakan that collected Rs. 13.04 cr and even Tubelight that collected Rs. 11.65 cr.

 

But given the film’s current standing at the box office, and the fact that the audience prefer Toilet – Ek Prem Katha over the newer releases the film is expected to fare well even in its third week in cinemas.
