Box Office: Judwaa 2 takes a superb start in overseas; collects 1.06 mil. USD on Friday

 

Judwaa 2 starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu released on Friday. Directed by David Dhawan the film has been doing brisk business in both the domestic and international markets.Box Office: Judwaa 2 takes a superb start in overseas; collects 1.06 mil. USD on Friday

 

Released across 625 screens in overseas the film has literally been going houseful in theatres. After taking off to a flying start Judwaa 2 which is a remake of the Salman Khan starrer Judwaa, the film has managed to rake in a staggering USD 1.06 million [Rs. 6.92 cr] at the international box office. Interestingly, Judwaa 2 has managed to earn 33% higher than the Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 and 25% higher than Varun’s previous release Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

 

If that wasn’t enough, while the international collections of Jolly LLB 2 included the territory of Pakistan, Judwaa 2 will hit screen within the country only on Monday on account of Moharrum.
