Box Office: Judwaa 2 has a rocking Saturday, collects Rs. 20.55 crores on Day 2

Judwaa 2 is now stepping into a record breaking zone. The film collected very well on Friday with Rs. 16.10 crore coming in. Now Saturday has turned out to be even bigger with a very good jump. The numbers are huge at Rs. 20.55 crore and with this the overall collections so far stand at Rs. 36.65 crore. The film is now set to have a weekend of over Rs. 55 crore and that is huge since the big holiday of 2nd October is yet to arrive.

The David Dhawan directed film has turned out to be yet another masala entertainer that hasn't been impacted by what critics have to say about it. Not that they went very hard on it and at least average to above average response was still there from them. Still, audiences have actually taken the film further ahead and ensured that none of the written words from majority of critics mattered.

For all involved, Judwaa 2 is now set to be one of their biggest ever. David Dhawan's biggest grosser (in the current times actually, since the veteran has given many superhits in the past) has been Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2 will surpass it's lifetime over the weekend itself. For Varun Dhawan too this will comfortably go past Badrinath Ki Dulhania. For producer Sajid Nadiadwala the film would be next  only to Kick (which by the way was directed by him). For Fox it is going to be one of their biggest since Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bang Bang. For Jacqueline Fernandez this will be her biggest since Kick and for Taapsee Pannu the film will surpass Baby in quick time.

It is now a matter of how big does the film eventually turn out to be beyond the Rs. 100 crore mark.
