Box Office: Jab Harry Met Sejal becomes Shah Rukh Khan’s 9th highest opening weekend grosser

 

The Imtiaz Ali directed film Jab Harry Met Sejal released on Friday last week. The film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma has been one of the most talked about and keenly anticipated releases of recent times. Collecting Rs. 45.75 cr, Jab Harry Met Sejal ranks as Shah Rukh Khan’s ninth highest opening weekend grosser. While on one hand the collections of the film fail to surpass the weekend collections of SRK’s previous releases like Happy New Year that collected Rs. 108.86 cr, Chennai Express that collected Rs. 100.42 cr, Ra.One that collected Rs. 92 cr, Jab Tak Hai Jaan that collected Rs. 80.73 cr, Dilwale that collected Rs. 65.09 cr, Fan that collected Rs. 52.35 cr and Don 2 that collected Rs. 48.39, on the other it does surpass the collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s other films like My Name is Khan – Rs. 30.00 cr.
