Box Office: Holiday records highest 2nd weekend collection

 

The A.R. Murugadoss directed Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Holiday, that has since climbed the charts to become the third Highest Grosser of the year, has beaten another record. In this analysis, we compare the second weekend collections of the film to other big releases this year.

Box Office: Holiday records highest 2nd weekend collection

 

Surprisingly, Holiday emerges as the leader collecting a total of Rs. 19.37 crores over its second weekend, thus trouncing the previous leader 2 States that featured Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and collected Rs. 15.53 crores. Another surprise is the film Heropanti that featured newcomers Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon at number five, collecting Rs. 8.29 crores.
