Box Office: Golmaal Again becomes Ajay Devgn’s highest opening weekend grosser

 

The Ajay Devgn starrer Golmaal Again hit screens last week on Friday. Collecting Rs. 87.60 cr Golmaal Again has now become Ajay Devgn’s highest opening weekend grosser. With such massive collections of an average of Rs. 30 cr per day Golmaal Again has surpassed the box office collections of Ajay Devgn’s previous releases like Singham Returns that collected Rs. 77.69 cr, Son of Sardaar that collected Rs. 66.02 cr, Baadshaho that collected Rs. 43.3 cr, Bol Bachchan that collected Rs. 43.10 cr, Satyagraha that collected Rs. 39.12 cr, Golmaal 3 that collected Rs. 33.58 cr, Himmatwala that collected Rs. 31.1 cr, Singham that collected Rs. 30.98 cr, and Action Jackson that collected Rs. 29.25 cr.

 

However, though Golmaal Again has achieved this feat despite facing competition from the Aamir Khan starrer Secret Superstar that released simultaneously, the film has continued to hold strong. Now all that remains to be seen is whether Golmaal Again that is expected to continue its run at the box office eventually emerges as one of Ajay Devgn’s all-time highest grosser.
