Box Office: Dangal crosses 8.5 mil. AED [Rs. 15.70 cr.] at the U.A.E/G.C.C box office

 

Amidst much fanfare, Aamir Khan starrer Dangal released this week. As audiences were eagerly awaiting the return of the superstar in a never before seen role, the film opened to a tremendous response across the world. Dangal collected approx. 2.5 mil. AED or USD 685 K [Rs. 4.64 cr.] on Thursday. The movie reported biggest Friday collections ever for a Hindi film with approx. 3.5 mil. AED [Rs. 6.46 cr.]. The movie collected approx. 2.35 mil. AED [Rs. 4.34 cr.] on Saturday.

 

With some screens still to report, the Gulf box office has already crossed the 8.5 mil. AED [Rs. 15.70 cr.]
