Box Office: Badrinath Ki Dulhania collects 4.21 cr. on Day 8, continues to rule in second week too

 

Badrinath Ki Dulhania continues to be hot favorite amongst audiences in its second week as well. This was pretty much gauged by the exhibitors as they reserved the maximum number of shows and that too in the best timings for the Karan Johar production, even though four new films had released this Friday - Machine, Trapped, Aa Gaya Hero and Mantra. However, not just did Badrinath Ki Dulhania get the number of shows which was more than combined number of shows for the new releases, it also got the best showcasing.Box Office: Badrinath Ki Dulhania collects 4.21 cr. on Day 8, continues to rule in second week too

 

No wonder, for audiences too it was the Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer that fetched maximum attention as it went on to collect Rs. 4.21 crore more at the Box Office. This was just a nominal fall from Thursday numbers of Rs. 5.06 crore and now the film stands at Rs. 77.87 crore.

 

The film will see greater jumps today and tomorrow as none of the new Hindi films have collected on their opening day and the turnaround doesn't seem to be happening either. That would leave audiences with the choice of watching only the Shashank Khaitan directed film, which means an overall total in the excess of Rs. 90 crore is definitely on the cards by the time the weekdays begin.

 

Badrinath Ki Dulhania is a Superhit already and is continuing to make hefty profits for all involved.
