Box Office: Baadshaho is Ajay Devgn’s 4th highest opening day grosser

 

Baadshaho that features Ajay Devgn in the title role alongside an ensemble cast comprising of Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz and Vidyut Jammwal hit screens yesterday. Released across 3242 screens (domestic 2800 + overseas 442) Baadshaho that has managed to draw in Rs. 12.03 cr on its opening day ranks as Ajay Devgn’s fourth highest opening day grosser. While on one hand the film does not surpass the collections of Ajay Devgn’s previous films like Singham Returns that collected Rs. 32.09 cr, Himmatwala that collected Rs. 12.1 cr, and Bol Bachchan that collected Rs. 12.10 cr, on the other Baadshaho does out beat the actor’s other films like Satyagraha that collected Rs. 11.21 cr, Son Of Sardaar that collected Rs. 10.72 cr, Action Jackson that raked in Rs. 10.25 cr, and even Shivaay that collected Rs. 10.24 cr.

 

With the film’s business piqued to see a jump in collections over the weekend all that remains to be seen is whether Baadshaho becomes Ajay Devgn’s highest opening weekend grosser.
