Box Office: Ae Dil Hai Mushkil crosses Rs. 90 crore mark in 9 days, emerges a hit

 

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a hit at the Box Office. The film is gaining well in the second weekend as well and brought in Rs. 5.85 crore more on the second Saturday. The manner in which the Karan Johar film has performed at the Box Office has helped it get tagged as a good hit just from the Indian theatrical revenues. In fact, if one considers the kind of moolah it has made from overseas and other rights (satellite, music, digital), makes it a solid earner for all involved, including Fox.

 

The fact that over Rs. 90 crore has come in just 9 days, has allowed the film to have a strong strike rate of Rs. 10 crore per day. Now, all eyes are on the weekdays to follow, as that would decide where does the film eventually land. While there is a plethora of releases in the coming weekend, the competition isn't too strong. Which means, there would be good count of screens reserved for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in the third week as well.
