Bollywood Box Office Business Report 2013 - Actors

 

Continuing with the evaluation of a successful 2013, after taking a look at the box office performances of actresses, let's take a look at how some of the leading actors fared through the year. In this report, we give you a lowdown on the actors who have been ruling the box-office with their movies garnering record breaking business along with others who are yet to master the tricks of the trade. However, the collections in this report are restricted to the domestic domain.

Bollywood Box Office Business Report 2013 - Actors

 

As expected, Aamir Khan features at the head of the list accumulating Rs. 280.5 crores with just a single release Dhoom 3. With such massive collections, Aamir has thrown the field open for Rs. 300 crore plus films. Coming in a close second is youth heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor with Rs. 248.36 crores collected with two releases, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Besharam. Interestingly, Bollywood's Greek god Hrithik Roshan steps in at number three with his film Krrish 3 that collected Rs. 244.92 crores, overtaking Shah Rukh Khan at number four with Chennai Express that amassed Rs. 227.13 crores.

 

On the other hand, Sushant Singh Rajput who made his debut just last year comes in at number 16 with Kai Po Che and Shuddh Desi Romance collecting Rs. 96.27 crores. Interestingly, Salman Khan, who has been working overtime promoting his upcoming film Jai Ho, fails to feature in this list, since post Dabangg 2 in 2012, the actor had no release.
