BO Report Card: The Besharam weekend

 

Ranbir Kapoor's latest release Besharam has been fairing rather badly at the Box Office. With reports of collections hitting rock-bottom, the industry is in shock. In this edition of Box Office Report Card, we compare Besharam against Ranbir's earlier releases as well as the Top 5 Highest Opening Weekend grossers of 2013.

BO Report Card: The Besharam weekend

 

Besharam that collected Rs. 47.31 crores on its Opening Weekend manages to out beat other Kapoor starrers like Barfi, Raajneeti, Anjaana Anjaani and Rockstar but lags way behind Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which collected Rs. 62.11 crores.

 

On the other hand, Besharam stands fourth on the list of Top 5 Highest Opening Weekend grossers of 2013, where again Chennai Express, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Race 2 beat the movie despite releasing on lesser number of screens.
