Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office: Kartik Aaryan starrer revives Bollywood in a big way, set to be a major superhit
Kartik Aaryan can now soak in all the compliments coming his way. His Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has revived Bollywood and he can well grin from ear to ear now. To begin with, he enjoyed the biggest opening day of 2022 with Rs. 14.11 crores coming in. Post that the opening weekend was Rs. 55.96 crores, again the best of the lot. Now Monday has stayed on to be superb as well with Rs. 10.75 crores coming in and that's the kind of stuff that brings in confidence around a film been really accepted by the audiences.
While Kartik had been enjoying a consistent fan following during the pre-pandemic days as well, it was a task for any actor to sustain that during the pandemic, especially without any theatrical release. He did have Dhamaka arriving on OTT in between which was a niche outing. However, the real test is to get audiences in theatres and when that happens in a big way for an out and out commercial entertainer like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, then an actor can indeed rejoice, something that's the case with Kartik Aaryan who has stamped his stardom all over again.
The film is now set to be his biggest ever by the close of the second weekend itself since Rs. 100 Crore Club entry is going to be a cakewalk and then it would be about going past the lifetime numbers of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety [Rs. 109 crores]. That will happen quite comfortably by Sunday and then the next target would be to surpass the lifetime collections of Gangubai Kathiawadi [Rs. 129.10 crores], which should again be a breeze.
