Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office: Film surpasses Pati Patni Aur Woh; ranks as Kartik Aaryan’s highest opening weekend grosser

The much talked about and keenly anticipated release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released last week on Friday. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in lead roles the film which was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani released across 3200 screens in the domestic market. Given the buzz for the film and the wide release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 started on a stellar note with Rs. 14.11 cr coming in. Not surprisingly, the business of the film saw further growth in collections on its second and third days running.

In fact, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has managed to surpass the collections of the actor’s previous releases like Pati Patni Aur Woh, which collected Rs. 35.94 cr, Luka Chuppi which collected Rs. 32.13 cr, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety which collected 26.57 cr, Love Aaj Kal which collected Rs. 26 cr, and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 which had collected Rs. 22.75 cr.

 

Going forward, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which has been enjoying incredible trending and a massive rate of advance bookings, is expected to continue to dominate the box office window. With the film already crossing the Rs. 50 cr mark, trade predictions state that the overall business of the film could reach Rs. 120 cr by the end of its first week.
