Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office: Film all set to surpass Gangubai Kathiawadi in Mumbai circuit; to claim the no. 4 spot
The Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan was released two weeks ago, and since then there has been no stopping the film at the box office. After opening on a good note the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani produced venture that also features Kiara Advani fast cross the Rs. 50 cr, and Rs. 100 cr mark. Now as the film embarks on its third weekend, estimates state that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will soon cross the Rs. 150 cr mark as well.
In this box office report, we look at the collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 within the Mumbai circuit while comparing the same to previous releases of 2022. Collecting Rs. 48.45 cr till date, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 ranks as the fifth-highest grosser within the Mumbai circuit. Preceding the film are previous releases like KGF – Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 134.61 cr, RRR which collected Rs. 92.38 cr, The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 69.66 cr and Gangubai Kathiawadi which had collected Rs. 49.08 cr.
Interestingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continues to run in theatres despite three new releases hitting screens. Given this continued positive trend, the business of the film will see further growth over its third weekend, propelling it past the Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi within the Mumbai circuit. If that was not enough, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has already surpassed certain other releases like Bachchhan Paandey which collected Rs. 15.34 cr, and Runway 34 which collected Rs. 11.03 cr.
In terms of the overall business, trade predictions state that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which has collected Rs. 144.56 cr will cross the Rs. 150 cr mark by the end of its third weekend running.
