Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office: Film collects Rs. 18.34 cr on Day 2; ranks as Kartik Aaryan’s highest Single Day grosser

The Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released on Friday to an overwhelming response from the audience and critics alike. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani the film opened on a good note; with positive reviews and good advance bookings, the business of the film saw immense growth. Now on its second day, the Bhushan Kumar – Murad Khetani production has seen a further increase in collections, with Rs. 18.34 cr more coming in.

In this box office report, we look at the business of Kartik Aaryan starrer while comparing the same to the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Collecting Rs. 18.34 cr on its second day, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has now emerged as Kartik Aaryan’s highest single-day grosser. In fact, the business of the film has surpassed the actor’s previous releases like Pati Patni Aur Woh which collected Rs. 14.51 cr on its third day, Luka Chuppi which saw Rs. 14.04 cr coming in on its third day, and others as well.

 

Interestingly though, the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has been seeing an upward trend. Released across 3200 screens in India, the film is expected to continue to see growth on Day 3 as well. Going by current estimates, the business of the film could see an even higher jump in collections with predictions claiming that the film could see around Rs. 20 cr coming in on its first Sunday.
