Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office Day 9: Kartik Aaryan starrer enters the 100 Crore Club, could eye Rs. 175 crores lifetime
With every passing day, expectations from Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 have been rising in a big way. First, it was all about whether the film will take a double-digit opening, then it was about it whether it would enter the 100 Crore Club. It was about whether it will emerge as the highest grosser for Anees Bazmee and Kartik Aaryan. It was about whether Rs. 150 crores lifetime would be a feasibility, and now it’s about whether it has a serious chance to take a shot at the Rs. 175 crores mark.
All of this is happening since the film is seeing excellent momentum in the second weekend, what with the double-digit score being reached on Saturday all over again. The film saw an amazing jump from Friday collections of Rs. 6.52 crores to almost double the numbers on Saturday with Rs. 11.35 crores coming in. With this, the film has now entered the 100 Crore Club as its total stands at Rs. 109.92 crores. Today is going to be excellent all over again which means the overall total would come quite close to the Rs. 125 crores mark.
With this, Kartik Aaryan has now scored his second century after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Ditto for Anees Bazmee who has yet another film in the 100 Crore Club after Ready. As for Kiara Advani, she has already scored biggies in the form of Kabir Singh, Good Newwz and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and this one is now a welcome addition.
