Bharat Box Office: With Bharat, Salman Khan becomes the only actor to have 14 films cross the Rs. 100 cr mark

The Salman Khan starrer Bharat released earlier this week to a thunderous response from the audience. Hitting a massive 4000 screens across India the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has been raking in the moolah at the box office. After drawing in Rs. 95.30 cr in three days of its release, Bharat is all set to sail past the Rs. 100 cr mark on Day 4. In this special report we take a look at some of the records Salman Khan has achieved with Bharat making it past the Rs. 100 cr mark.

With Bharat making it past the Rs. 100 cr benchmark Salman Khan becomes the only Bollywood actor to have not one, two or three, but instead fourteen yes 14!, films that have managed to enter the Rs. 100 cr club. If that wasn’t all, from the fourteen films, three viz. Tiger Zinda Hai, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan have made it across the Rs. 300 cr benchmark. While two films, Kick and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo have managed to cross the Rs. 200 cr mark and the remaining nine films, Ek Tha Tiger, Race 3, Dabangg 2, Bodyguard, Dabangg, Ready, Tubelight, Jai Ho and now Bharat have gone past Rs. 100 cr.

 

But considering the fact that Bharat that still continues to enjoy the audiences’ favour is going strong in theatres, and with little to no competition expectations are that the overall business of the film will be much higher. In fact, with the approaching weekend, predictions state that the business of Bharat will see a massive growth spurt.
