Animal Box Office: Ranbir Kapoor starrer emerges as the all-time highest Adults Only certified film

The much-talked about and keenly anticipated Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal, hit screens last week on Friday to a roaring response from the audience. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna the film that received an Adults Only certification came with immense hopes and expectations attached. Following a high rate of advance bookings, the business of Animal started with a bang, and continued to see good growth over its first Saturday and Sunday running. Post its money spinning opening weekend, which saw Rs. 201.76 cr coming in from its Hindi and dubbed versions combined, the business of Animal, managed to hold steady on its first Monday as well. Besides these big-ticket releases, Animal has also managed to outperform releases like Grand Masti that collected Rs. 102 cr, Veere Di Wedding that collected Rs. 81.39 cr, Satyameva Jayate that collected Rs. 80.50 cr, The Dirty Picture that collected Rs. 80 cr, and Raaz 3 that had collected Rs. 70.07 cr.

 

As of now, Animal, which has proved to be unstoppable at the box office, continues its march despite competition from the other release. Based on current trends, trade predictions state that Animal with positive feedback from both the audience and critics alike is sure to see its overall business grow over the coming days. In fact, certain optimistic predictions state that Animal that is all set to enter the Rs. 500 cr club at the worldwide box office will see a spike in business over its second weekend running.
