Ahan Shetty–Tara Sutaria starrer Tadap becomes the 3rd highest opening day grosser of 2021
The Milan Luthria directed film Tadap starring Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria was released yesterday. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala the film’s premiere that happed a few days back saw the who’s who from the industry in attendance. Given the scale and the promotion campaign the film, which also serves as the launch vehicle for Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan was expected to open on a good note at the box office.
In this box office report, we take a look at the opening day collections of Tadap while comparing the same to previous releases of 2021. Collecting Rs. 4.05 cr. on Day 1, Tadap has managed to become the third-highest opening day grosser of 2021. Tough leading the list of highest opening day grosser of 2021 are the films Sooryavanshi that collected Rs. 26.29 cr. and Antim – The Final Truth that collected Rs. 5.03 cr., the business of Tadap manages to surpass other releases like Satyameva Jayate 2 that collected Rs. 3.60 cr., Roohi that collected Rs. 3.06 cr., Mumbai Saga that collected Rs. 2.82 cr., Bellbottom that collected Rs. 2.75 cr., and Bunty Aur Babli 2 that had collected Rs. 2.60 cr.
