Punjabi films dominate Australia box office
Punjabi Films continue to dominate the Australia box-office. The SUPERB business of AMBARSARIYA this week and LOVE PUNJAB & ARDAAS last week ascertains the fact that regional cinema
is now a strong competitor to Bollywood even in the overseas markets.
AMBARSARIYA has emerged as the *2nd highest opening weekend grosser of 2016* at the Australia box-office.
Meanwhile KAPOOR & SONS continues its fabulous record breaking run in the international markets with GBO of approx. 5.35 mil USD [35.7 crs]. This is the highest International GBO of 2016 surpassing the approx. 5.18 mil USD GBO of AIRLIFT over the same period.
