Shahid Kapoor's fiancee is 13 years his junior

That Shahid Kapoor is getting married in November is indeed a fact, and all speculation regarding the end of his bachelorhood must end.

 

A close friend of the actor confirms that Shahid Kapoor is indeed marrying Mira Rajput, a student of Delhi who, says the friend, lives in a farm house in Chattarpur.

What comes as a surprise is, Shahid's age-difference with his fiancee.

 

"She is only 21. She is 13 years junior to Shahid," says the source, adding that there was no pressure from Shahid's father Pankaj Kapoor to marry Mira.

 

"She is the daughter of a family friend, and that's how Shahid met her. But the decision to marry was strictly the couple's. Shahid and Mira liked each other and felt they could spend their lives together. They informed their parents accordingly. After his ill-fated relationships with Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, Shahid was sure he didn't want to marry an actress."
