Delhi>
| Imran Khan, Vir Das, Kunal Roy Kapur, Shenaz Treasury, Poorna Jagannathan, Vijay Raaz, Paresh Ganatra, Rahul Singh, Aamir Khan [sp. app.] | An outstanding film in all respects | May not be savored and relished by everyone | Has fetched a flying start, although the business was clearly divided. It's excellent at metros, but not too strong in the traditional markets. It's superb at plexes, but the single screens in the heartland haven't reacted as favourably. Yet, all said and done, the Weekend 1 numbers [Rs 26.15 cr nett] are amongst the highest. The contribution from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore has been extra-ordinary. In fact, more than what movies generally fetch from these centres. Breakup:- Fri 7.15 cr, Sat 8.25 cr, Sun 10.75 cr |
Bbuddah...Hoga>
| Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Raveena Tandon, Sonu Sood, Sonal Chauhan, Charmee Kaur, Prakash Raj, Makrand Deshpande, Shahwar Ali, Rajeev Mehta, Rajeev Varma, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Atul Parchure | Bachchan show all the way | Skeletal plot, some unwanted sub-plots in the narrative | Got badly affected due to the DELHI BELLY and TRANSFORMERS wave. However, after a slow start on Friday, the business picked up on Saturday and showed further improvement on Sunday. The Weekend 1 business stands at Rs 7.32 cr nett. Breakup:- Fri 1.90 cr, Sat 2.33 cr, Sun 3.09 cr [some Mumbai centres still counting] |
Double>
| Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaffrey, Aashish Chowdhary, Mallika Sherawat, Kangna, Satish Kaushik | Hilarious entertainer | Rests on a thin plotline | Faced a rapid decline due to three new releases. But the Sunday numbers are good. Collected Rs. 4.83 cr in Weekend 2. Breakup:- Fri 1.12 cr, Sat 1.48 cr, Sun 2.23 cr. Total so far: Rs 41.42 cr nett |
