Earlier in February, Ranbir Kapoor featured in a new advert for a popular paints brand wherein he was seen playing the role of a nosy old matchmaker. Interestingly, the said advert featured Ranbir playing a double role, one of a young man and the other the matchmaker. Though it has been a while since the advert went on air, we came across these behind the scenes images of Ranbir’s transformation.
The transformation for Ranbir was done by ace makeup artist, prosthetics developer and hair designer Preetisheel Singh at her specialized centre, Da Makeup Lab. It involved a painstaking process of covering up the actor’s hair with a bald cap followed by creating his look with a receding hairline. By the looks of it this painstaking process took quite a few hours to develop.
Knowing the hard work and hours that went into developing the look and seeing the final outcome, we have to say both Preetisheel and Ranbir have done a marvellous job of creating a new character.
