We all know that Anurag Kashyap is more than happy to take forward his women-centric project Saand Ki Aankh. The film, based on the real life stories of the Tomar sisters-in-law, who are octogenarian shooters, has already gone on floors. While we know that Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu playing the said roles have started shooting, filmmaker Prakash Jha has joined them for the shoot.
The Jai Gangaajal director-actor will be featuring in an integral role and it seems that Anurag Kashyap was the one who was keenest to have him on board. When Jha was roped in for the role in Saand Ki Aankh, director-producer Anurag Kashyap had revealed that it was his idea to get him on board. Reportedly, Kashyap was impressed with Prakash’s performance in Jai Gangaajal in which he played the role of a police officer with grey shades. And it was this that prompted him to approach the Apaharan filmmaker for his next.
