Nora Fatehi turns 31 today. Off late, she has been in the news for the wrong reasons but one can’t deny that her popularity is unmatched thanks to her sensuous dance moves, hot looks and association with several super-hit songs over the last few years. She is followed by 45 million people on Instagram, which makes her the 20th most followed Indian personality on the photo-sharing app. In fact, she has more followers than popular heroines like Sara Ali Khan (41.4 million followers), Parineeti Chopra (39.6 million followers), Rashmika Mandanna (36.2 million followers), Madhuri Dixit (34.2 million followers), Kiara Advani (26.7 million followers), Mouni Roy (26 million followers), Sonakshi Sinha (24.9 million followers), Samantha Ruth Prabhu (24.4 million followers), Ananya Panday (24.1 million followers), Shilpa Shetty (22.7 million followers), Rakul Preet Singh (22.7 million followers), Pooja Hegde (22.3 million followers), Janhvi Kapoor (21 million followers), Malaika Arora (17.2 million followers), etc. Surprisingly, her follower count is also more than that of Shah Rukh Khan (35.2 million followers)! This speaks volumes about her fan following.

Recently, another interesting aspect came to the fore. As per an article in October 2022, Nora Fatehi is the most in-demand to perform at weddings, apart from Ranveer Singh. The article quoted a wedding organizer who revealed that the actress is the most sought-after when it comes to affluent weddings and that it is very difficult to get her dates for wedding appearances.

Besides Nora Fatehi and Ranveer Singh, two Punjabi singers are also quite in demand – Diljit Dosanjh and A P Dhillon. However, insiders claim that though people are ready to pay any price to get them on board, these two artists are unwilling to give dates for wedding performances.

Born in Canada, Nora Fatehi debuted in Hindi with Roar: Tigers Of The Sundarbans (2014). She then did multiple dance numbers in films down South, including Bahubali – The Beginning (2015). Her popularity went through the roof thanks to the song 'Dilbar' in Satyameva Jayate (2018). Two weeks later, she was seen in another item song, 'Kamariya', in Stree (2018), which also became quite popular. A year later, she made waves with 'O Saki Saki' in Batla House (2019). In Street Dancer 3D (2020), she was seen in a supporting role and also in the hit song, 'Garmi'. This was followed by the song 'Kusu Kusu' in Satyameva Jayate 2 (2021), 'Manike' in Thank God (2022) and 'Jedha Nasha' in An Action Hero (2022). Recently, she was seen in the single 'Achha Sila Diya', opposite Rajkummar Rao. In between, she was seen in a rare action role in Bhuj – The Pride Of India (2021).
