Veteran actor Jackie Shroff is soon going to share the screen space with Salman Khan, Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda in Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai. The actor is known for his exceptional performances and comic timing. Jackie will be back to screen after a long time.

Recently, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Jackie spoke at a length about his role in Radhe, working with Salman khan and much more. When asked how important entertainment is during current times, as India is battling with the second wave of deadly coronavirus, Jackie replied, "There is absolutely no doubt in it. Films have been doing the job to make people forget about their sorrows of life for 100 years. It takes us to a dream world, somewhere it tells us the important notable things, and sometimes there is a talk about heroes and superheroes. There are various other things that are produced, some are romantic, some are thriller, it happens that after watching these we end up diving into their stories and forget ours for some time. It's like a recharging and refreshing experience.”

Adding to that, Jackie further said, “It's a family film, it's a wholesome film. I think Radhe, which has to be and meant to be watched on a big screen, can't be watched on a small screen – like you can't watch a war on a small screen. When you need a blanket, you can't watch it in a handkerchief. But, it's good that nowadays the films are released on both platforms and I hope the business is good for the producer. But, I think OTT is a blessing when there is a complete lockdown in cinema halls and most countries have opened up and OTT is surely a boon. If not OTT, the television would have taken it. Both have the same reach and both can reach many countries at the same time."

He further added, “I’ve no idea, but cinema is cinema, there is altogether a different pleasure sitting in the theatres. You can't watch such a film on the small screen. Radhe definitely is a big film, its Salman Khan's Eid release; it's a kind of celebration for Salman.”

Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai will release on Eid in theatres, as per Salman Khan tradition. The film will be also available on ZEE5 with ZEE's pay per view service ZEEPlex on the Zee5 OTT platform.
