After spending over three months in the Bigg Boss house, Rubina Dilaik was announced as the winner of Bigg Boss 14. The actress and her husband Abhinav Shukla agreed to come on the show to give their relationship a second chance and it all worked perfectly well in their favour. Now, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rubina Dilaik spoke about the connection she had with the audience while being isolated from the world.

Bigg Boss contestants are locked up in the house for months without any contact from the outside world. Yet, they have to win the hearts of the audience who are watching their actions. Rubina, clearly won their hearts by being herself on the show. Talking about creating a connection with the audience, Rubina said, “I think as human beings we all connect at a basic level which is emotions. So, if you are true to yourself, it means you are projecting the honest version of yourself and on a very human basic level you are able to connect with people wherein you embrace your flaws, embrace your mistakes and say it's okay to be a flawed human being. It's okay that I've committed mistakes, it's okay that I am not perfect and that is who we are.”

“We are work in progress and if we are okay to accept it I think it connects with each and every person. Because we all are connected with that one basic thing which is the emotion,” she added.
