I am not into Bollywood music much...but really when an album of d trio of magicians(I MEAN SEL..or wat else wud i call dem) come out i do LISTEN...& D Same implies 4 ARR & VISHAL SHEKHAR...
Now coming 2 d topic tht is d music review of Taare Zameen Par(wat a soulful title!!!) really 2 words wud tell it all REGARDING D MUSIC..."ABSOLUTE GENIUS"
It has 8 tracks...7 composed by Sel & 1 by Shailendra barve...
d first track is d title song..so soulful..so simple..brilliant lyrics...& such a heart touching composition...
d second track is "kholo kholo" & it carries on d mood just where d title track had left...in fact it doesn't seem like a bollywood song & i felt has a sort of Lucky Ali CHARM 2 IT...
Ah d third track "Bum bum bole"...so catchy...so bollywood yet so unconventional...just gr8
Then comes d husky Vishal Dhadlani wid his "jume raho"...has a sort of Hard rock feel 2 it & i hv never heard such a track in a bollywood movie...simply fantastic
Den comes "maa" by Shankar Mahadevan...&it is such a track dat only Sel can compose(& not craps like Priitam & Himesh)...it makes u cry & cry frm d bottom of ur heart...d best track frm d best album of this year & ne1 who wud disagree hasn't got a proper sense of music...
den comes...bheja kum...it's more of a situational sort of a rap than nething else...but still funny & good
den there is d song composed by Shailendra Barve called Mera Jahan...i feel it's a situatinal song but still good..Adnan Sami does a good job...
& FINALLY "Ishaan's theme...not a song...a wonderful piece of THEME music instaed...
There should not b a single bit of doubt that as far as musical quality is concerned dis is d best album of d year...Way better then Metro & Heyy Babyy & Partner(jus pathetic)...
SIMPLY D BEST ALBUM OF D YEAR...& IF NE1 HAS A DOUBT I WUD SAY"PLZ DEVOLOP A PROPER SENSE OF MUSIC B4 SUBMITTING UR REVIEWS"...THAT'S ALL...
